So faith comes from what is heard

In Romans 10, the Scripture talks about the salvation, but specifically about righteousness by faith. In verses 14ff, Paul talks about Israel's rejection of the message. Paul then asked, "did they not hear? Yes, they did." They heard the "message." He quotes Isaiah, where the text says, "Lord, who has believed our message?" He then says, "So faith comes from what is heard, and what is heard comes through the message about Christ" (v. 17). The "faith" comes "from" hearing or what is heard, and what is "heard" comes "through" the message of Christ. So then, faith comes by hearing the message, the salvific message - "through" the message about Jesus Christ. He did not say faith comes for hearing any message, but from a specific message - the message about Jesus Christ. So faith comes from hearing the words about the good news of Jesus Christ. Have you heard the good news of Jesus Christ? If you haven't, now is the time.

How to Grow in Your Christian Faith?

Many Christians struggle in the faith with God. This courses is designed to help you grow stronger in Faith!

What is the Gospel?

“For I want you to know, brothers and sisters, that the gospel preached by me is not of human origin. For I did not receive it from a human source and I was not taught it, but it came by a revelation of Jesus Christ” - Gal. 1:11-12.

The gospel means, the good news. But it is more than a good news! It is the good news about Salvation in Jesus Christ, the Savior of mankind.

Gospel is not just a word which proclaims about the salvation offered through Christ Jesus, but it is the “power” of God (Rom. 1:16). Why is it a power of God? Because it has the capacity to change one’s life, because it shows the power of God at work, who can only save one’s soul

What Must You Do To Be Saved?

One of the greatest questions ever asked by mankind! What must I do to be saved? The Bible tells us that there is life after death. Life doesn't end at death. This question deals with where we spend our eternity. Isn't spending our lives in eternity important? So, what must you do?

Here are the three simple steps to follow:

Believe God Exists!

Jacob, when he got up from the sleep, he said "Surely, God is in this place" (Gen. 28:16). When Moses encountered God at the burning bush, Moses asked, what am I supposed to tell the people if they ask me who sent you? God says, tell them, I AM THAT I AM hath sent you! (Ex. 3:14). Whether God exists is out of question - He exists. Period. But, can you believe in any other god or gods? No. The Bible says there is none other than the God of the Bible. Isaiah 45:5 says, "I am the LORD, and there is no other; there is no God but me." Exodus 20:3 states, "Do not have other gods besides me." In Isaiah 45:5, there is a particle ayin, (Heb. אֵ֣ין) used two times, that denotes the utter non-existence of any deity. In Gen 28:8, the particuel used for "is" (in the English translation) is yesh. (יֵ֣שׁ), which denotes that something "exists" - "Surely, God exists in this place."

The God of the Bible is unique; He is Holy; pure, compassionate. He loves people, He loves to commune with People; His desire is to have an everlasting relationship with those who believe in Him. His compassion is shown through and in the utmost form of a sacrifice, by offering His Son to die for the sins of the world - His Son - Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ died for the sins of the world; because of His death, He has paid the penalty for sins; something we could never do. Because of His death on the cross, we now, that is those who believe in Him, has forgiveness for their sins; we are declared righteous, and we have an eternal life with him.

Believe God exists. That God is Jesus Christ, who laid down His life for His friends. What god calls you a friend? What god laid down his/her life for you?

What Must I Do To Be Saved?

While Paul and Silas were arrested, they were not sad, but singing hymns and praising God. During this time, there was a violent earth quake. The foundations of that prison shook; door flew open, and the chains came loose. Then the jailer woke up. When he noticed what happened, he was so nervous that he thought he would kill himself. But Paul shouted, "Don't harm yourself! We are all here!" After the jailer rushing to them, he fell before Paul and Silas, and ask the greatest question ever - "Sirs, what must I do to be saved?" They replied - "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household." (Acts 16:31).
